The DW server is on AppID 258680, you’ll need to use that with SteamCMD (or the client) instead of the MW appid.The config with most new settings is PCServer-CDWGame.ini (which corresponds to MW’s PCServer-UDKGame.ini). Most of the differences in the configs are commented in DefaultGame.ini, so if you don’t know what a setting does, or want to see what some of the new settings are, look in that file first.Some settings like score and time limits are more easily configurable as we’ve simplified some of the gamemodes (TD now has a score limit instead of using “resources”; maps now can’t override time limits; etc.). Look for CDW.AOCLTS and the sections surrounding that in DefaultGame for comments, and edit it in PCServer-CDWGame.Some settings that affect all gamemodes have been added to CDW.AOCGame. It will carry over the team restrictions and number of teams from the last map. I’ve got TCAdmin pretty well setup for the new files but I’m having trouble with port conflicts. Does CDW operate on the same server port+1 scheme or are there additional ports to account for now? It’s weird but everytime I think I’ve got it worked out there’s always another conflict with ports being used that should be free.If you’re not specifying the ports in the command line, be sure you’re specifying them in PCServer-CDWEngine.ini, not the old PCServer-UDKEngine.ini. C:DW requires the same number of ports as C:MW does.

Ensure you’re editing PCServer-CDWEngine and not PCServer-UDKEngine with the ports.By the way server ops, we’re running a new, more varied VoteMapList on our own servers now. You might want to borrow this, or at least make up your own, since the default one is farily short.If it’s not clear, the game supports anything from 2 to 6 teams, even though our default config only had 2 and 6 team battles. “Random” gets replaced by a random class before the vote starts. You can have same class vs. Same class, e.g. Pirate; the game will just call them “Blue Pirates”, “Red Pirates”, “Green Pirates.” There’s currently no means of restricting a team to more than one class, except to make a team Open, then class restrict other teams; the Open team(s) will get the left-over classes. :Ensure you’re editing PCServer-CDWEngine and not PCServer-UDKEngine with the ports.Of course, I checked it several times;)my pcserver-CDWEngine.ini!!

I know whichever build Multiplay is hosting their servers off (and the one we used to host our own) had the correct value. I’ve verified I’m editing the correct ini and the ports are properly set by TCAdmin.

I’m using the same setup as CMW but with the obvios UDK - CDW changes. I still have a weird issue with ports being used that should be open. If a server is set to use 7777, 7778, and 27015 the next server won’t setup with 7779, 7780, 27017. I’ll have to change the peer port several ports ahead, for example 7782 or 7783 might be available. CMW and CDW are the only game servers running on this particular box so it has me confused.

I can’t seem to get the server started. Running on Server 2012 R2 Core.
